Library
Here are the books I have used and use for research. Many, especially the older ones, are online versions and available for free. As for the paper ones, many interesting books aren’t hard to find on second-hand sites and many aren’t even expensive.
As for the division into sections, this is very difficult to do. The histories of photography that cover a broad period are in “history of photography”, but a book focused on the history of Kodak, for example, which is also about history, is in “brands”.
Anyway, as there are only a few books, if you like the subject I suggest taking a general browse and maybe you’ll find an interesting acquisition tip for your own library.
